I was just trying to explain to a friend what the experience was like on my end of the photoshoot. When you took our family portraits I thought, "She couldn't have possibly got anything good today." The toddler was squirming and the light didn't seem great outside. When I got the photos back I was shocked. It was as if I wasn't at the same photoshoot that you were at! Your photos captured moments that were so fully us, so magically the feel of our family while also creating such beautiful pictures on an aesthetic level. The light you found in us and also in the day was truly due to your eye. You are a gift in the world and bring your beauty of perception into everything you do. Lucky for us all, that includes photography. We get to share in your vision and have those moments frozen for us. All of my friends who see my shots want to get their family portraits done. And as a new-ish mom, having my photos taken individually was the BEST present a woman can have to feel her self again after nights and days of intense child raising. What an awesome present for a mother! I recommend an individual session for every person who wants to reconnect with how their beauty is showing up for them currently in their life. You found my true self and showed it to me and for that I will be forever grateful.

The week got away from me, but I've been meaning to write and thank you again for bringing cupcakes for the kids last week, that was really sweet! They had such a good time at the photo shoot...
